Developed to improve safety and reduce operating costs for the shipping industry, Fugro Oceanstar® is a widely-used navigation sensor and onboard decision support system that enhances berthing operation and vessel navigation in confined waters. Using GNSS antennas that are compatible with all current satellite constellations, aided by Fugro augmentation and a motion sensor, its calculation engine builds a complete picture of vessel heading, attitude and location, to establish centimetre-level positioning accuracy.
